My friend Mylene just recently launched a wonderful business where she transforms high end fabric into Audrey Hepburn-esque tied headbands {honestly feel like I’m in modern-day Roman Holiday when I wear mine} and old school men’s fabric belts. Saturday night was a first for me! I attended a Mother Blessing hosted by my good friend Megan, for her darling sister/my friend/expectant mother, Mekea. It was lovely in the sense that the Blessing truly celebrated the tradition of motherhood by honoring mothers, grandmothers + the women who attended the event.
